Redwood Hill Farm Grilled Cheese Sandwich with smoked goat cheddar

Redwood Hill Farm’s Smoked Cheddar goat cheese knocks it out of the park in a grilled cheese sandwich! Use your favorite hearty bread from a local bakery if you can. I used Full Circle Baking Company’s organic “Powerbread” with Walnuts, Almonds and Raisins.  ~ from Nancy Lorenz

Classic, hearty, grilled cheese sandwich with a twist: Redwood Hill Farm Smoked Cheddar goat cheese

  • 2 slices bread fresh, hearty
  • Redwood Hill Farm Smoked Goat Cheddar sliced
  • 2-3 tsp. butter

  1. In a heavy skillet, melt the butter on medium heat; swirl to coat the pan. Place the slices of bread in, and immediately flip them over. Cook the bread one minute on medium high heat, flip again, then lay slices of cheese in a single layer on each slice. Immediately close up the sandwich, and continue cooking, flipping the sandwich until it is as browned as you like. Turn off the heat, cover the pan and let it sit for another 2-3 minutes, until the cheese is fully melted and begins to ooze out of the bread.

Right-on Wendy! Our cheddars are so versatile, and we believe a much healthier opting than their bovine counterparts. And lobster mac and cheese?? Wow, that sounds so decadent and delicious.
