Cedar Plank Smoked Camellia
From Santa Cruz's New Leaf Market comes this fabulous Summer recipe for our Camellia cheese on the grill.
Redwood Hill Farm Camellia, cold
6 dried apricots, diced finely
2 Tbsp. local honey
Soak cedar plank for at least one hour in cold water.
Heat grill to about 350 degrees F. Place plank on grill for a few
minutes until it begins to smoke. Unwrap cheese and place cold cheese on
smoking plank. Close lid and turn down heat to low. Cheese will be
ready to serve in 12-15 minutes.
Remove plank with cheese and
place on serving board. Top with diced apricots and drizzle with honey.
Serve immediately with sliced baguette.
