Ingredients
- 1 4 oz. Redwood Hill Farm Camellia
- Walnut bread or fresh baguette slices
- Assorted condiments (suggestions follow)
Instructions
- Remove Camellia from refrigeration and allow to sit at room temperature for 1 hour.
- Cut in half horizontally, placing cut side up on a serving plate.
- Gently spread filling over the cut side and finish by placing the second half over the condiments, cut side down.
- Serve at room temperature or bake for 15 minutes at 350° and serve warm.
Condiment Ideas
- 1/4 cup each diced dried apricots and almonds
- 1/4 cup each diced dried pears and almonds
- 1/2 cup seeded & chopped tomatoes mixed with 2 tbsp. fresh basil
- 1/4 cup basil pesto
- 1/4 cup Jimtown Fig and Olive Spread
- 1/4 cup Jimtown Olive Tapenade
- 1/2 cup cranberry chutney
